Ceres provides specialist flow meter verification, diagnostics and flow-rig calibration throughout Victoria and Tasmania. We support meters used in trade-waste monitoring, water and wastewater, food and beverage processing, CIP systems, batching, dosing and production measurement.
As KROHNE’s exclusive authorised service provider in Victoria, Ceres delivers traceable manufacturer verification, diagnostics, commissioning and ongoing support for KROHNE flow meters. We also provide specialist verification and service support for Euromag flow meters.
Verification can be completed onsite, with the meter remaining installed where practical, or instruments can be sent to Ceres for assessment. Every verification includes a review of the complete measurement system—not just the transmitter—including installation, earthing, pipework, process conditions, wiring, configuration, outputs and the control-system interface. We then provide clear feedback on the result and any recommended actions.
For Endress+Hauser, Siemens and other brands, Ceres provides managed service support through established manufacturer and service relationships. We coordinate verification, technical support, repair, replacement and commissioning while remaining your practical point of contact.
Ceres specialises in electromagnetic and Coriolis flow meters, and also supports vortex, ultrasonic, turbine, variable-area and positive-displacement technologies.
Electronic verification is the industry-standard method for rapidly confirming the integrity of a flow meter’s complete measurement circuit. It is not a flow measurement test or wet calibration.
Using traceable manufacturer verification tools and methods, Ceres tests the meter’s transmitter, sensor, coils, electrodes, wiring and associated measurement circuitry. The result confirms whether the instrument remains within its expected operating condition.
When a meter passes verification, it is deemed accurate and acceptable for continued use in the process. This provides a fast, practical method for assessing installed meters without removing them from service or interrupting production.
Flow measurement testing and full flow-rig calibration are discussed below.
Ceres offers full flow-rig calibration for most flow meter technologies.
A five-point flow calibration is completed across the meter’s operating range and referenced against a highly accurate Coriolis meter. This provides a detailed performance comparison and is ideal for new meters, instruments following repair, suspected measurement issues or applications requiring a documented calibration result.
Your flow meter verification or rig calibration can be recorded and managed through our online CalBase system.
